Places to see

There is a lot more to Protaras than just the beaches. Here are some suggestions for you. 

Local:

Profitis Elias Church - Its a couple of minutes walk from Villa Galene. Best is to walk to the top for sunset

Cape Greco National Park - natural park with crystal clear waters, cliffs, and scenic walking trails. things to see include Crow’s Arch, the Blue Lagoon, Kavos Viewpoint, Sea Caves & the Love Bridge

Sculpture Park (Agia Napa) - Open air gallery on the side of the hill with the sea as a backdrop

Coastal Promenade - A walkway stretching some 10KM from Pernera (Kalamies beach) to the Cavo Maris Hotel . Popular with walkers and joggers.  

Mini-cruise - There are a number of boats operating from the Protaras pier that will take you on a mini-cruise along the coast with frequent stops to swim, including the blue lagoon.

Scuba diving  - Green bay beach is one of many locations for scuba diving. Here there are underwater statues to explore

The strip - Evening strolls along the Protaras strip with its bars, restaurants, shops and ice cream parlours
